1. How long have you been teaching and have you taught in other schools before?

I’ve been teaching for 7 years. I taught at a school in Paterson for 5 years and this is my second year at Newark Tech.

2. Was it your plan to pursue teaching? Yes as a kid growing up, I wanted to be a teacher. But, in college I was in business for a  year but left to go into teaching.

3.   What college did you attend? ​I did both of my bachelor and masters at Ramapo College of New Jersey.  

4.  How do you feel about the Newark Tech environment so far? Newark Tech has a very welcoming, outgoing, and friendly atmosphere

5. How would you describe your teaching style/approach? My teaching style is high energy and fun. I want to keep my student engage and let the be able to express themselves, think on their feet. I believe they would be able to learn when it’s fun

6. What is your goal for your students for this school year? My goal for my students is to learn the concept of history and how it relates to the world. I also want my students to take away some life skills that will help them to learn in other classes

7. What do you do or plan to do during the summer? ​I work at a golf course during the summer time 

 8.  Favorite color?  Green 

 9.   What's your favorite food or meal?   Italian food( since I’m Italian) and sandwiches 

  10. What would your students be surprised to find out about you? I cut my tongue in half when I was  five. I coach basketball and volleyball.
