                                          Halloween

                                          by Faizah Pray

         Then there were four left

The children were shivering in their boots

They were paired up in groups

They had to escape the haunted house

But they were all scared and quiet as a mouse

They cried for their parents but the truth was no one was

          coming to get them

They finally decided to get moving

They were getting scared left to right.

They began to run from the monster screaming so loud.

         They went around and around.

          Over here the child shouted

          I see an exit sign.

Yes let's run there it was the line.

They had exited still frightened to death

Never again will we ever do that!

Halloween Poem

 by Jhozua Martinez

As the sunset, disappearing until dawn

Many of the monsters came out to have some fun

As the zombies started to come out of the lawn

Many children got frightened and began to run.

They all roamed throughout the streets

While all the monsters were out to hunt

Kids went to houses asking for treats

What a scary night for all these stunts.

Costume parties all night long

As the dance floor began to steam

While they played spooky songs

and said Happy Halloween
