Autumn

Autumn is my favorite.
I craved the crisp smell of the air
and the warm breeze that just barely
seeped into
my warm wool sweater.
I loved the way
the falling leaves
covered the ground
in the most beautiful
assortment of colors.
The autumn rain becomes liquid happiness,
It seems to wash everything away,
Mostly, I loved the way autumn rain makes me feel

People reunite on Thanksgiving
eating turkey and stuffing.
Pumpkin pie fresh out of the oven, with the rest of the pumpkin muffins
the smell is something you can't get over.
Corn and smashed gravy on the dinner table...
Smells surround the home as the children listen to fables in the other room.
