Small changes yet just so Fall

by

Genesis Rodriguez

One day it's cold, one day it's hot,
You may never know how long it lasts,
Some love this weather like me,
But some suffer looking at the sky,
The sky starts getting darker earlier
So we have to wake up earlier
But yet these changes are so small
Yet just so Fall
The colors you see day by day are vibrant
They can be bright red,
orange, or yellow
The colors are so bright that they fall at the end of Fall,
Leaves fall slowly as they hit the stone cold tiles underneath your feet
Some don’t fall instead they fly,
The gushes of breeze shoot color into the air
Just as bright as the sun setting in the chilly air
All these colors everywhere
Be careful you might slip in the Fall
You start seeing pumpkins all over
It may be a farm, a latte, or as meaningful as seeing
Beautiful people painting pumpkins
It’s really that time of season you say; surprisingly
You just really didn’t want summer to be over
But it came to an end,
And now its Fall

Oh the things to do in Autumn

As a child all you think about are treats
But can you really go out and trick or treat,
Every face is unrecognizable on Halloween
So many people out on the streets
Shouting “trick or treat”
But it's not all about Halloween.
Thanksgiving is around the street,
Everyone has gathered around,
Just like a pile of leaves
Laying on the ground
Children jumping on piles of leaves
Can really make you think
Just how fast time leaps

Fall foods

I like ice cream for the hot weather
But now I need a sweater
As cold as it can be we can enjoy tea
Tea with cookies is the best for this season
Or chicken seasoned with rice

Fall weather

The days get colder day by day
As the leaves fall off day and night
Our days are shorter
While our nights are longer
With the breeze of this weather
We welcome fall
