Fall Weather

As the leaves lose their green,
We can feel the breeze,
As the colors are warmer,
The temperature grows colder,
Thanksgiving is around,
Which we are bound to celebrate,
Eating turkey is just fate,
Compared to other seasons,
Fall is vibrant and colorful.

Are you fall?
You remind me of fall
Of big sweaters that feel like a warm hug
Of the leaves as they change
Into something so beautiful
But you also remind me of the dark days
The clouds
The cold
The rain
Because I find beauty in the darkness
I don't love fall despite the darkness
I love fall and all that comes with it
Including its darkness and its bad days
Just the way I love you

There are so many things to eat but let’s find something concrete, I say let’s go with pumpkin,
Let’s make something out of it,
It’ll take a while,
We need to make a style,
Should it be pie or bread,
Hurry! The people must be fed,
We must bake something,
Or this pumpkin will not be used for nothing!
