Freshmen Reflections

by

Eric Angamarca

In halls of brick and morning light, a new day calls our name,

A freshman year, a blank canvas, a place to stake our claim.

New faces greet with shy hellos, each step a cautious leap,

In corridors where dreams ignite and hearts begin to beat.

The classrooms buzz with whispered hopes, where teachers guide our way,

Their voices blend with chalk on boards, a symphony each day.

Lessons carved in wisdom's stone, they light the path we tread,

With every word, a spark is struck, a hunger to be fed.

The grounds, a vast and sprawling green, a world for us to roam,

With hidden nooks and open fields, a second place called home.

Majestic trees and blooming flowers, the air so fresh and sweet,

A sanctuary of the mind, a haven for our feet.

In this grand place of learning, emotions ride so high,

A rollercoaster of the soul, beneath the endless sky.

From laughter shared in moments bright to tears in silent rooms,

Each twist and turn, a lesson learned, each dip, a chance to bloom.

Friendships form in laughter’s light, in stories told at night,

In study groups and lunchtime chats, in every shared delight.

We face the trials side by side, through victories and falls,

Together strong, we build our bonds within these hallowed walls.

The year unfolds like petals soft, each day a story spun,

With every dawn, a chapter turns, with every set of sun.

From timid steps to confident strides, we grow with every day,

A freshman's journey, rich and full, in every possible way.

Freshmen Year Reflections

In freshman halls, emotions whirl,
New faces, fears, and dreams unfurl.
Yet summer whispers, plans take flight,
With friends in tow, our hearts alight.
Vacation dreams, a distant shore,
Adventure calls, we yearn for more.
Through mixed emotions, bonds will mend,
In summer's glow, our journey's blend.
And in the warmth of sun-kissed sands,
Adventure beckons, in distant lands.
Though freshman fears may reciding and flow,
Summer's embrace will brightly glow.
With friends by side, our hearts will soar,
In moments cherished, forevermore

Through high school's halls I go

Dreams ahead, they retreat and flow.

Tenth grade motion , arms wide spread,

Life's next chapter, its charms widespread.

New faces, new friends, abound,

In this busy schoolyard, we're found.

Lessons old and new to embrace,

Challenges, we'll bravely face.

Books piled high, pens grasped tight,

In this land, we find our light.

Each page turned, knowledge earned,

In this journey, our wisdom is heaven.

Not just books or sums we solve,

In lunchtime's joy, we evolve.

Friendships forged, trust's embrace,

In this journey, we find our place.

Tenth grade dawns, with hope's gleam,

Heart's fire burning, a vivid dream.

Ahead, the path may seem long,

But we'll emerge, brave and strong.
