BACK TO SCHOOL

by

🏫 Jeffrey Alvarez

The summer heat begins to fade⛱

New adventure plans are made.

Shiny shoes and shiny backpacks,🏫

Emotions bubble, hearts feel light.

Friends laugh, ready to play.

In the classroom we will learn every day.

Computers, books and pencils too.🏫

Back to school, a new world!

Under the weight of books and dreams,

We find our place in changing topics,

The promise of lessons yet to be learned,

A world of wonder, a chance to long for.

From the morning bells to the evening light,

Each day unfolds with new delight,

In classrooms full of curiosity,

We gather knowledge, we free our minds.

However, mixed with joy is a hint of fear,

Of the trials and tests that await us,

But in the challenge, we will find our way,

Together we rise, no matter what happens.

Back to school

In between emotions of going back to school

A swirl of millions of sensations

On a roller coaster that goes up and down with different reactions

Two paths in which one calls a classroom

The other path saying summer

Joy or nostalgia?

Is it something that I always question

Stress or anger?

Something I can't decide

A mountain of doubts and sensations with different emotions

Joy mixes with duty

Academic stress clouds my view but I don't know what to feel

Missing rest and unhurried days

Anxiously waiting for the stacked books

Yet here I stand, in between,

Pencils, books, rulers, formulas, texts, sun, movies, friends, outings, free time

Back to school feelings

by

Mateo Valladares

The day has come.

The smell of paper, freshly bright,

A summer's end, a new day's light.

The backpack waits, a canvas bold.

For new stories, for truths untold.

A nervous thrill, a joyful fear,

Of friendships forged, and lessons clear

The hallway hums, a vibrant sound,

Familiar faces all around

New books await, a world to see,

Adventures waiting for me

So raise the pen, and let us start,

A brand new year, with a brand new mind

Back to school

A hush of wonder fills the doors.

Pencils sharpened, whiteboards clean,

New faces join the old routine.

Excited chatter, nerves in tow,

Rows of desks in morning glow.

A fresh start, a blank page

Back to school, I can’t wait!
