   "Untitled"

As September is heading our way

I can feel the nerves, and feeling of my hands being cold again.

I try to maintain calm and relaxed as year the year begin

I was no longer the new student at the school.

Somehow the year yet wasn’t done  with me

Few days of school I went by when I somehow 

 knew this school year felt different from the rest.

It could’ve be my last year but faith 

had something else for me. If only I knew

 What It was?

      It was a Tuesday night, I had school the next morning.

It went so fast, that you can see the tears in my eyes.

The fear was there, but no more than clarity 

 My days and nights are different 

I sit here every day feeling odd and weird

Not being able to be home or be comfortable

It was a way of being vulnerable 

As life goes on, it comes to mind that what happens 

has to be acceptable, if not, I will only be skeptical 

For my own sake. 

As the days go on, I come to my senses

 that I have to return one day or another to school,

school routines, lunch food, homework and projects. 

I knew the attention and sorrows were going to hit me.

It meant that I was truly back in school fulltime and all day.

As I met my teacher, my classes, I decided to take

 the focus as a distraction from the situation.

But as they both combination it felt stressful

Settling into a new home, they said was like a 

fresh start, but it only got worse.

My mom's illness started to come around.

There is no way to stop it...

That night, my mother was admitted to a hospital

I did not have time to enjoy the "fresh start in a new home or new grade"...

it was time for me to commit to her motherly responsibilities

As more weights tag along, more the less  I wanted to be doing school work.

It started to feel more departed  from school and my teachers.

I couldn’t expect them to  understand, but for me to give them an explanation.

I’m still pushing through school and home. Making it through the fullest.
